Necrotic Obsession

Personally i dont believe so. sure most goth usually or occasionally wear a lot of black, but as a big girl i have to wear what fits...I cant be too picky. If i were skinny you probable would see me in a nice fitted black suit....something really nice but alas I am fat.

Im sure if some of my gothic friends were to see how i dress now they would laugh at me maybe even call me a poser, which really makes me want to lose weight but it is so hard

my mom the other day commented on how she said i almost looked like i might listen to contry music

what are over weight goths to do? Please tell me.

and i mean i dont just listen to manson and nine inch nails... ill listen to just about anything thats not totally fucking retarded (kidz bob,lol)

For me, black has always been a comfort thing. I feel most secure (if not attractive), when I'm wearing some of it. I very seldom enter a new enviornment without it.

(Granted, my closest friends often condemn me on the occasion I refer to myself as a "goth", in any sense of the word.)

I really fail to see how wearing black and your weight have anything to do with each other? Often times, I think people weight or body image issues wear TOO MUCH black, because they believe it will mask their flaws. (Which it will, to an extent. For decades, women have been drawn to black purely for this reason.)

I can't dress up in a goth costume every day. It gets hot as hell where I live.

Try wearing all white.

How about shorts and a white shirt ?
