miami was a cool place if your into the whole tropical thing, there are tons of things to do during the day, sightseeing wise, and at night southbeach kicks ass, when your old enough to drink ;) dont go during the day, its seriously too many old men in speedos and rollerskates there then.

New York City is a super cool place but dirty as fuck, if you got a friend to tag along, youll never get bored, check out peir 69 for skaters too, some amazing dudes and dolls rip up on blades and boards there ;)

Boston, clean and neat, and kinda boring too, but its got museums so if thats your gig.. keep on trucking. not too far from boston if you get the chance cape cod, amazing place to visit too, so funky beaches and lots of people smoking weed there in the summer :P

New jersey and surrounding areas.. well going to the beach in the summer there is awesome and well worth it with all the boardwalks and all the action packed fun there.

If you stay around massachussets try to get on the apalappadiallacain trails its some idan trail thing going waayyy back, and really.. it IS worth the hike, bear shit and all(no its not camper poop, unless campers suddenly have 3 Ft wide arses).

Springfield massachussets has a lot of its own microbreweries.. WELL worth the trip too :D (watch out for vegetarian resturants, they charge 50 times as much as everyone else for lettuce and 2 tomatoes).

hmm i cant rem much else really its been a few years since ive been there.

If you want trees and stuff, I recomend Western NY state, specificly Catteragus, Livingston and Allegany counties.

I recommend Canada :bwhaha:

But seriously...I've traveled to many, many states, and I tended to prefer the ones that seemed more like home for me, like some of the New England states, such as Maine and Vermont. And I'll admit, visiting Stephen King's house was an attraction for me in Maine. Upstate NY is similar to where I live too, because heck, it's only a couple of hours away. You did mention trees and countryside, and I noticed a fair bit of that in some New England areas.

I guess it really depends on what you are interested in and looking for. If you want pretty scenery, lots of shopping, landmarks, theme parks, active nightlife, or unique culture.

I mainly interested in being out in nature, in woods or fields or by lakes, in mountains. Just not a concrete jungle. Or if in a city...somewhere where the countryside and nature are easily accessible.

Not too interested in Shopping, but I do like theme parks! I'm well up for raves and free parties or similar kind of nightlife...
