Positives- It runs a lot faster than Firefox, it's a simple, minimalist browser. You can choose to customize it with skins and add ons, if you like, and use(d) that feature in Firefox.
Cons- It doesn't have the same amount of security features or plug ins as Firefox, but they are working on that, and you can download a variety of "apps" for it, including adblock, control over Flash automatically loading if you don't want it to, and the like. There'a also the expected adjustment period needed to get used to a new browser, though Chrome is pretty straightforward and easy to learn, IMO.
I ultimately tried it once I got tired of Firefox slowing down to chug rate, it was frustratingly slow, and Chrome definitely runs much faster for me. I was a little nervous about what appears to be less security in the beginning, but with a little research, and appropriate security plug ins (and proper security on your system in general), it's a "yes" for me.
