Necrotic Obsession

yea, so its happened again. my daughter has gotten out of her mothers house for the third time by herself, and she is only 3. i got a call from C.P.S. today, and later hoped that i would be able to take custody of my daughter if necessary. i told the C.P.S. representative so. but later found out, by talking to my landlord, not able to.

see, it was originally supposed to be me, my landlord, and a roomie. and then it turned into that plus my landlords daughter and husband, and child, plus her son. so a total of 7 ppl live her when it was supposed to be 3. and now i may need to take custody of my daughter. my parents are willing to help but, shit, it gets so fucking complicated.

Complicated with out a doubt. I feel for ya dude. If your folks are willing to help I'd take them up on that! Do what you have to do. Move out of there or back with your parents for a bit or just anything. Just whatever you have to. I'm sure its a pain, a challenge and whatever else you wanna call it. But you'll have peace of mind and you have some help.

You know, I have a friend who has a daughter and has not seen her since she was a baby. She's turning 9 this year.....and she lives in a trailer park with her drug addicted mother. My friend OWNS a nice condo and a very nice car yet he can't have custody over his daughter. It's a real shame.

I really hope you get your daughter. I would take your parents offer if I were you!

its true i have always wanted custody of her, or at least i started to once i really started seeing the ex's true colors come out.

i live in MD which is a mother state (basically that means moms are favored over dads) and it would have been futile for me to take her to court over it. now that the authorities have gotten involved, and 3 times at that, plus with all the shit she has against her in this case, and al the stuff i have going for me, i stand a good chance of getting it.

i, the pit-bull going for the fucking jugular here. or a wrecking ball if you prefer. shes fucked with me enough times, and been irresponsible concerning too many things, im going all out to make her look bad and to do what i need to get custody. on a side not, the kids wont be going back to her, they are in a foster home for now.

there is a big possiblity you'll get her. Take yor parents help and get her out of that situation. not good all those people being around your daughter. bring it up in court to not good. but it'll be lengthy with state people checkin in all the time... best of luck and take care

I feel for you... i have a lil girl also... I would take your parents up on that offer... Its the help you need to you can get a place for you and your daughter...

an update.

my parents were away on vacation when this happened, so i had to wait for a bit till i got a decision in stone, but they are applying for guardianship. my parents homeschool and teach montessori, so this is a good chance in my opinion for Lydia(my daughter) to really bloom and get an all around fresh start.

there is a few things going against me, nothing that i cant refute. like my mental history, and some shit that went with it (this was all back in 04) and my ex claiming im a raging alchoholic, but she has no proof. but they still want to check up on me, and im cool with it, i have nothing to hide. im getting whatever i need scheduled to get myself in the clear, and whatever needs doing, done.
