its actually a form of tonsillitis. except that it goes away after a couple of days. except in those few days my throat glads swell up like golf balls, i cant swallow (anything) and living is painful as all hell.

I had a toncillectomy last year. One of the best things I ever did.

And gargle with HOT salt water until it feels better.
