To use a little slab of jargon from the school of breakbeats...
BREAKIT' DOWWN

lol oh man, i love this guy! didnt i smack you down earlier today? well i see you want a little more...
No , Your Supreme Excellency of Sonic Alchemy, you did not "smack me down" earlier. If you'd utilize any bit of ATTENTION, which might come in handy being that you're such a great musician, you'd be able to properly address the points people make to you....in the correct order, and in the correct context.

sit down and play a show with me? the answer is no for one.
I can sleep easier now
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and for 2, i like how you had to put the little "id slap the shit outta you with my drumsticks" as a little plugg to you playing drums....lol that was classic.
so? Every single ounce of horseshit you post is some kind of shameless cock stroking rundown of your musical background or promotional plug for your music...and furthermore, is nothing but a vapid deductive comparision to music that we ALREADY KNOW is trite and shallow. If you have to knock Ashlee Simpson to make yourself feel better about your own music...well....I'll let you finish that fucking sentence.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
iguess ill have to admit here that ive been playing drums since i was 10, and i highly doubt id never need a little pretetous dick to play live with me,
WOW...you must be like a regular Elvin fucking Jones. To think...since you were
10!!! There's nothing more you need to learn. You must have the entire spectrum of rhythmic and dynamic coexistances figured out.....I mean...I know after 20 years of playing...there's nothing more I need or want to learn.... I'm better than everyone I've ever come across!!!!! Except for you of course...

but i will address the whole internet tough guy thing. the reality of the matter is that if you were to meet me in person, you would find me to be agreeable, friendly, and somewhat caring about the welfare of others...as far as anything else is concerned, i promise you that if you crossed me and we had a problem, you wouldnt even slap the warts off your own cock. you would bite your toungue and take it like you do every friday night when your daddy comes to visit you.
Who's the tough guy?
dragonsinfantry wrote:
it would be worth a little drummer shit to try and smack me with one of his drum sticks just so i could snap his legs in public.
Stop it....you're making me swoon with your machoisms
*fluttering eyelashes*
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and what are you talking about with the "demo parade"???
does that mean that im sending demos out now?
i sent a 4 song disk with a promo pack once a month ago as i was emailed by a guy who wanted to hear more tunes. a week later, he mailed me a contract.
i didnt like it, so we went back and forth, and now its looking okay.
I'd like to know the details of this contract....being that music business was one of my courses of study. Label? Who is the rep who contacted you? What were the terms and outlines of the royalty sheet? Do you have choice over who is to produce your work in the studio, or are they just jumping a bridge and allowing you to take on that responsibilty right off the bat? Or is this just some dream you have convinced yourself you're living?
dragonsinfantry wrote:
im not looking to "make it" in the music industry. i dont do it for money. it would be nice, but unlike you(im assuming) its not my last resort.
bullshit......if you didn't want to make it in the industry, you wouldn't be concocting fantasies of A&R reps and record contracts.
Don't backpedal from your arrogance.......it diminishes the small amount of character you have.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
i dont need money from my music. ive been makin tunes for as long as i can remember as a vent from the world of....you i guess. i play many different instraments, and have never had a need for other people to "help" in my solo stuff.
Far be it for you to have others around to taint your dream world with some constructive criticism.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
ive been in about 20 bands in my life, ranging from funk to metal, to producing hip hop beats.
i have a pretty solid backround in this shit, and have been fortunate enough to meet the "right" people who i really like to play with or for.
so im not really understanding what you're trying to do here. does this make you feel better? i hope so...
Being in 20 bands can mean several things...one of which is that NOBODY KEEPS YOU AROUND. Given the tone of your posts, and your utterly distractive and self centered slant on musicianship...I can't imagine why.
And yes...yes it does make me feel better...in fact I'm going to write a song about people like you right now. And then get angry when I see people watching MTV instead of listening to my song.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and what was that shit about "teen pop stars are proliferating their message out to listeners..."lmfao! what message fag?! they make pop!! you people defend pop???!!!!
If it weren't for flavor of the week pop acts making record companies quick fortunes, there would be NO opportunity for any other kind of music to even be considered for signing. In a way....you almost owe the small slice of hope you have to get noticed to these marketing schemes.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and why do you feel the need to talk about me naked with a guitar? its flattering, but im not gay man.....
Thanks for clarifying that......I was almost going to switch teams for you until I realized you have a severe humour cognition disorder.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and again....
if im stupid for bitching about pop stars....
and you're bitching about me.....
I never said I was smart.
But you're losing this argument...where does that put you?
*pulls out your seat at the back of the class*
dragonsinfantry wrote:
hmmm.
and how do you know that they have to suck dick to go on tour??
wait a minute, you're a pop star arent you?
i fuckin knew it.
NOWWWW...you're just getting desperate.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
and who are you to give advise on "the equation" to succsess? lol who the fuck are you? yoda? i love it when people online talk about, what they would do.....
Maybe you should take advice from others sometime. Some people might have a little firmer grasp on this subject than you give them credit for.
You might actually learn something for once, and it's quite possible it could do wonders for your attitude. You could write the most gut wretchingly deep music I've ever heard, but if you sat down in front of me with your carrot up the ass demeanor, I'd piss on the contract and give it to you to frame as a reminder of what you missed.
dragonsinfantry wrote:
lol. if you wanna grow a real dick, im me, and we'll meet up. bring your drumsticks, so...you can...slap...me...with...them. lol thats like your grandmother hitting you with a wooden spoon when you were a kid. grow a dick, and stop threatening people with a torture invented by your grandmother.
