Now I for one am hoping this NEVER sees thelight of day.

Anyone else feel 90% of what studios are donig nowadays is just finding movies that were hits whenever they were released and remaking them but adding like.. a cgi explosion or whatever just to make a buck.

Anyways I've read there's talks of remaking the crow and fucking Jason Statham (sp?) has been asked about the main character role.

Sweet zombie jesus no!

A. not EVERY god damn movie HAS to be remade. I'm all for remakes if the remake can bring something to the movie (like the most recent fri the 13th remake/retelling was actually pretty decent, for a slasher flick :P).

B. the crow doesn't need to be remade. the movie's just as awesome today as it was when it was released.

C. I like Statham in the movies he's in. random fighting/killing action flicks. I'm not saying he can't act but I definently can't picture him trying to fill Brandon lee's shoes.

thoughts/opinion/comments?

Is it an actual remake or just another in the series of Crow films?

From what i've read it's to be an actual remake.

Now I dont think it's a 'for sure' thing and that it's just in talks about being made etc. but still... lol talking can lead to making this atrocity of a remake :P

Would be a shame if they did do a remake. The original is great as it is.

Eurgh, just no need for it! Why do some people insist on remaking films that just don't need it? I mean, I am far froman anti-remake person as there are PLENTY out there that are really good (some that you don't even realise are remakes) but some fims should be left untouched. Same with sequels-some films just don't need them!

I am of a wait and see attitude. While I love the original, I'm not totally against a remake or reboot or whatever they're calling this.

That's because you are retarded ...

the only good one was the first one. It was a cult classic. An amazing movie that they almost didn't complete due to the unfortunate and ill-fated death of Brandon Lee The energy and emotion that surrounds that movie can't be matched and all subsequent movies were an atrocity.

if you hadn't guessed it's my favorite movie, and it means a lot to me.

some things should be left well enough alone dammit.

if they could bring people back from the dead we would not need movies
