I finally got around to watching the movie Wolf Creek the other day, and while it wasn't the best movie I've seen in my life, there were some aspects of the movie I quiet enjoyed, especially the performance by the "bad guy".

I checked to see if the director of Wolf Creek had done any other horror films, and he seems to have done 2, but both are killer crocodile type films which aren't really my cup of tea, so I was trying to find some more Aussie horror.

I noticed there didn't seem to be a lot of it around, at least not much that I could find, and it struck me as kind of odd. New Zealand has several ripping fun horror flicks (thank you Peter Jackson!), but Australia doesn't appear to go into that genre much? I'd think they have a lot of great filming areas for it too.
Am I missing something?
Anyone know of some good Aussie horror?

Ooh yes, I forgot to mention Undead! I downloaded it and realized it had no sound when I went to burn it, so I just snagged a 2nd copy for burning yesterday. Glad to hear it's going to be good.

Thanks for the links :) I'd come across the second one in my searches but I'd not checked the Wiki page. Several sites I'd looked at were listing Mad Max as an Aussie horror film but that wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Maybe it's just me but I don't see Mad Max as being a horror film :P

It's odd though, to me it looks like they make fewer horror movies over there compared to many other countries. Mind you, there are several countries that churn out a whole lot of horror, while others shy away from the genre. I wonder why that is. I'm assuming in some cases it has to do with customs and restrictions on content, but that wouldn't apply to all cases.
