lol. as this:

Image

is the view from my living room, I can see the glass boxes from home.

A few weeks ago I noticed bright orange spots of fire near the observation floors, and I thought the building was going up. I wasnt aware they were putting the finishing touches on the welding.

I just brought my telescope back from storage in Detroit, so naturally, I used the Sears Tower to calibrate the spot finder. With the 5x lens I can see what people are wearing in the boxes. It's kind of weird watching people's behavior when they walk into the boxes. They always stop at the edge, then put their hand out a little bit and shuffle to the edge.

I don't live anywhere near Chicago, and even if I did, I wouldn't set foot near the Sears Tower. I'm afraid of hieghts. I get nervous on a tall ladder.... hehehe

That's cool how you can see how the balcony is balanced from the two pillars
Or scaffolds, I would imagine a window washer would adapt well. I've never really had a fear, I would probably react the same, reaching their hands out to balance themselves. That was interesting in the article hearing from the employees that it took a few visits to get used to the view. I notice the 103rd floor is centered for a 360 0 degree view of the city. I read about a few locations in Chicago from my story research :| I would love to visit the city sometime.
