i found another record,

TestJinx testjinx Registered abcd@xxxx.com Never 29744

and Jinx™ also uses the same email id. i changed the email id for testjinx to abcd1@xxxx.com

try logging in with Jinx™ in joomla now and post ur feedback. u know what abcd@xxxx.com stands for. i changed that for privacy issues.

I thought TestJinx was the cause of it, but it's not. I also thought I may have forgotten my current password that's why I'm still unable to log in to Joomla. Since Necrotic board remembers my password, I'm going with "I have forgotten my password". :i: Or Joomla hates me. :whatever:

how about u change ur password to something stupid for testing purpose and email it to me. i will then use the login checker that's available on joomla to see where the error is occurring. u can later change ur pwd after we fix ur login woes.

i've done some voodoo; may be, to the point where, i might not b able to repeat the steps. long story short, u will now be able to login with the user id, Jinx™ into joomla. try it out. u should then be able to click on the forums link, on the left hand side menu and transition into Jinx™ on the bb.

this might not be the end of ur woes, but we've at least crossed the hurdle of ur supercripted, trade marked user name.

#1. could u post a few screen shots of what u're doing? u can simply PM the screenshots.
#2. what browser are u using?
#3. it'll be helpful if u can attach the pic u're tyring to upload/change.


ps: btw, i just updated/changed my profile pic on both joomla and phpBB.
