I sleep usually four hours a day. The reasoning for my sleeping habits is because I take care of other person's. I haven't slept normal in years.

I find that it is much better not to think about it too much otherwise you may drive yourself mad over it.

Relax, your sleeping may improve sooner than later.

I understand the frustration quite well! I seem to go on "binges" of not sleeping at all for 3-4 days, & then hibernate for a week or so...talk about fucking up any type schedule! I havta try to get everything done at the start of a binge while my thought process follows some type logical order. Once the fog settles in, things can really get out of whack! My mind/body has completely shut down at times when I've pushed the limits too far, & that's dangerous for all...when I start seeing those "rainbow colored tracers", its time to find my bed before I find the floor! My last night of any rest was at best 2 hrs Sun PM...its now early Thur AM, & I've got social plans for 8PM tonight...15 hrs away!!

i NEVER sleep more than 20-45 minutes at a clip. and i stay awake for hours in between the 20-45 minutes. occasionally, i hire a strapping young lad from town to wear me out. lol. (ok, that last bit was total shite, as he works for free. lol.)

i only sleep longer if i am terribly ill and on the verge of death. and even sometimes then there is no sleep.

I try to lead a healthy lifestyle but i can't get the recommended amount of sleep... i get around 4 hours of sleep a night...

you need around 7 uninterrupted for your body to recover properly... repair damaged cells... prevent insanity (vxn it's too late for you)... maintain proper metabolism... everything! lack of sleep affects how you look, your memory..

i mean... now that i'm in a hotel room... i sleep even less... i wake up every 30 minutes because the fan is on a timer and i need it on to sleep... i've now developed an eye twitch i've never had before and i think it's from always being exhausted!

that sucks jjp. so long as you like what you are doing i suppose it's worth it.

i know i should sleep, and that i need it to function properly in the morning, but i just can't make myself go to bed early... i'd rather be awake as much as possible... i always feel like i'm wasting time sleeping... even if it's only for 5 hours...
