And now I can't sleep.

It was a kind of psychological thriller for me.

It started out, i was standing beside my grandmother's old driveway (she doesn't live there anymore, she's in a home), I saw my grandpap (now deceased) appear in the center of it, then he began walking away from the house. He turned, and saw me. His expression was cold at first, but he quickly put on his familiar warm smile, then he waved and said, "I'll see you at home." I was confused so I turned around to look at the house. I turned back and he was out of sight.

So I proceeded inside.

I was in the living room. Everything was bare except for the large mirror that was connected to a large mantle (I have the mirror now) I looked through it, but didn't see a reflection. I instead watched. I watched my brother as he walked in front of the top of the stairs. He distored into my grandfather for a second. Then fell backwards down the stairs. I (who had apparently become present in the scene) looked over the rail. I saw my mother crying in a corner. Then my brother got up, spread his arms as if to say "ta da" then collapsed on the floor. His shirt became soaked with blood. I ran down the stairs, but when I got there, I was at the bottom of my house.

I turned to look into the livingroom. The tv was on but no one was in there, so I turned farther to look into the kitchen, and I noticed the closet was open. I saw my dog. it looked at me for a second or two the went into a hole that was in the wall. I went to my room, which was locked. So I went to my friend's room instead. I opened the door and found myself walking out the back door of my house. The ground was covered in snow. My friends were standing around the firepit. So I walked over. The fire started to burn the snow though. They were consumed, and the fire began spreading its way outward and toward me.

I woke up.

I'm fairly used to hyperrealism in my dreams, but this one was just wrong. I used to enjoy waking up from them going, "that was weird," or "that was fun," but never "oh my god, I really don't want to try sleeping again after that."

That is something of a really intriguing dream. I acknowledge that it terrified you in a certain way and I'm sure it would have terrified me as well. But that would be a fantastic short film or short story. Sorry, I have a creative eye, I write and have done some small filming. I love the way you've described it as vividly as you could, and it feels as though the reader is there themselves, no longer an audience, but a witness. I love how the scenes change erratically (which often happens in dreams) and how well you have made the scenes flow with the language you've used.
Fantastic. I love all elements of it.

At the end of the day,

But the question is...
How many of us play fair?

I will let you down...
I will make you hurt"
