I've had two dreams now within the last month about people I love dying. A few weeks ago I dreamt that my little brother Joey died and no one told me about it for like two months. I found out from someone's blog and I was devastated. When I woke up I told DEI right away and then texted Joey immediately afterward because it freaked me out.

And NOW just a few nights ago I dreamt about my cousin Luke dying and everyone at his funeral. I had to message him on Facebook to tell him and of course he's still alive but decidedly confused about the whole thing.

A woman I work with says that back in the day dreams like that were supposed to symbolize an upcoming wedding. I am getting married but Christ... This is starting to freak me out a LOT.

:Sad Devil:

Take what other people say, and other books about dreams and throw that shit right out the window.

Symbolism is different for everyone. You have to figure that one out, what death means to you.

I had a dream that my blind uncle was driving and we drove off a cliff, and my boyfriend died, and my baby lived through it. As to the symbolism; The ironic part for me is my blind uncles name is Cliff, and we were driving on a cliff. My boyfriend and I had not talked in a while so perhaps that meant our relationship was slipping.

I would think that its definitely a sign to speak to them, even if you didn't mention the dream. Perhaps that is your bodies' way of telling you to pick up a phone.

Hope that this makes you feel better. :P

I've got them all figured out by now. Simply put, death anxiety. The one about my little brother was obvious, which I won't get into because I don't want to talk about it, but it wasn't about my little brother. My cousin is just about some other whacko in my life that has been missing for eight days and is probably dead (again, not about my cousin).

I had another really fucked up dream that was incredibly morbid but I don't want to get into that now.

Anyway, I only mentioned what the woman at work said as an interesting fact. She wasn't serious about it either.
In other words, I'm not a retard. :P

LOL, Of course your not a retard.

I wonder why your having all these morbid dreams in a row. Do you ever wonder when you have these dreams? It is said that on occasion people have certain feelings hence dreams that run on the cycles of the moon. I suppose death anxiety sufficiently covers most of it, but I do hope they ease up. I hate dreaming of loved ones dying etc.

I just can't stand it when people go and tell me that if I dream about death I'm going to have a baby, but if I dream about a wedding someone is going to die. It's like WTF! Can't my subconscious not be ass backwards?

Yeah, it all makes sense considering the things that are going on in my life right now. I'm not sure that it will ease up just yet but hopefully within a few weeks or so. At this point, I'm not even sure if somebody's dead or alive, so until I know that there is no law in dreamworld, apparently.

Funny for you maybe. Let's give the cape to Jon Marino instead.
Now THAT would be funny.
