I agree with Lucifera's suggestions

My knowledge of dreams coming mostly from interpreting my own from a psychology point of view, and sometimes applying the same theories to the dreams of others. Although it can vary because some symbols can mean different things to different people. That is one of the reasons many "dream dictionaries" don't work so well; specific symbols don't always mean the same thing from person to person, depending on what that particular thing means to them (like some people love spiders and others are terrified of them). The other thing with dream dictionaries is that they concentrate too much on individual symbols and not enough on the dream as a whole.
