Since you seem to be good at dream interpretation (or atleast looking them up?) tell me what this means:

I've had this dream a few times, everytime it's a little different but i'm dreaming that it's the end of the world. Everyone else is dead and gone, there's hellfire and chaos and i'm being chased by these demons things, they're like shadows of people, no faces, no real shape almost like black outlines filled with smoke. Then other times again i'm last person left on earth but this time there's nothing. There's no food, no water, no veggitation, no demons, no animals, nothing. Just endless terrain. I walk around like i'm looking for something, anything and i can tell i'm starving to death. But at the same time i can't seem to die. i just feel eternally tired, thirsty, and hungry and i'm aware that this is never going to change and yet i still feel like i'm looking for something.

I'm not Mae (obviously!), but my interpretation - for what it's worth - would run something like this:- Perhaps you feel under pressure from other people's demands (represented by the demons chasing you), and so you are imagining a world where you are free from these demands (the end of the world), only to realise that you need people (feelings of starvation) even though you are simultaneously feeling scared/threatened/pissed off at them. I think that your dream reflects both anxiety and loneliness, and it fulfills a wish to escape from society and yet it expresses your fear at what you would feel if such a thing was possible.

What do you think? Was that any use?

hmmm, that might actually make alot of sense, when you put it that way it's eeriely accurate. I mean my personality is made up of alot of polar opposites, i go from extreme highs to extreme lows. I either loath myself or i think i'm godly, and i'm the same way with people. I absolutely love being around people and need there validation, but i also need to be alone and could careless what their opinion of me is, sometimes i even refuse to let people touch me other times i just want a hug. And i do keep thinking about how freeing it would be to just leave one day. No idea where i'd go what i'd do, just walk out and never say goodbye to anyone, but i also know i'm to rational to ever do that.

I agree with Lucifera's suggestions :) My knowledge of dreams coming mostly from interpreting my own from a psychology point of view, and sometimes applying the same theories to the dreams of others. Although it can vary because some symbols can mean different things to different people. That is one of the reasons many "dream dictionaries" don't work so well; specific symbols don't always mean the same thing from person to person, depending on what that particular thing means to them (like some people love spiders and others are terrified of them). The other thing with dream dictionaries is that they concentrate too much on individual symbols and not enough on the dream as a whole.

I think it helps to think about what different parts of the dream made you feel like; It may help you figure out what it was about...

if you dont mind me saying, when you mentioned extreme high and lows, from feel like crap to godly, "bi-polar" popped into my head. dunno if you wanna comment on that, but just my observations.

other than that your dream did sound post-apocalyptic, and the part where you couldnt die, sounded like purgatory to me. are these still over, or do you still have them? now that i check teh date(over 4 months ago)
