ok, so when i login on the page it jumps to the actual login page and says "Incorrect username or password. Please try again." no matter how many times i enter it correctly it gives me the same thing.

I may have solved this. It appears all the users were not imported into Joomla.

I've been trying to log on since August. It was driving me crazy trying to work through it.

One thing that may be a problem for others are the passwords. Mine wasn't 6 characters long and it kept telling me that my username or password were wrong. I know I was entering the correct for both fields. I had a new password sent to me and I was "successfully" logged in but it still wouldn't let me visit the forums. It randomly let me tonight after waiting a week.



If anyone is still having troubles, this post might help.

Ok. So I assumed that there might be problems with usernames containing spaces so I changed my username and re-activated the account I also updated my password and I still can't login.

just checking, has renfield's work on 05dec2009 cleared the login issues?

@limemilchshake
i think renfield's messing with the cookies solved ur login issues. do post back on ur login experiences in a week's time.

@AncientSpirit
i'll take a look and post back on what i find.

i'm sorry, there's been quite a bit of pain on account of the login issues.
