So, are we talking any kind of metal, or only elitist black metal? What about so called nu metal, or old school metal, or hard rock, or metal/industrial?

I'm not in high school anymore, so I don't really care if I get bashed for some of the music I listen to, I just want to know if it's even worthwhile to post about certain bands.

Depends.....anything that is actually metal.

If this room get's popular enough, I'm going to try to convince Ren to make this into a subforum WITHIN the "Raucus Beats" subforum.

In which case, there will be rooms form all categories of Metal.

You can discuss any metal topic or group you like. However, I hold no responsability for elitist extremists (such as "Tomhet" and others) bashing bands.....besides....isn't conflict what really makes a forum fun?

Yeah Mae.. it doesnt matter what style as long as it is Metal. So no matter the personal taste from the moderators..*grins* as long as its metal we will tolerate it! Be it black or NU.

And since when can i get away with pretty much everything? Maybe i should start using that...

I would also like to add this about the room and i think that Frost agrees with me:

No flaming eachother about personal taste and viewpoints please. You can discuss it (in the proper threads) but no flaming, you can do that in the Meat Grinder. Discussing is fine ofcourse! But try to respect eachothers views on Metalmusic.

Another thing which is just me and maybe not Frostbittens opinion but i would appreciate it if you would stay ontopic in this room. I personally think it would be a shame to see threads about bands end up in chitchat about other things. I know i sound anal about this....

No I agree with you MA. Although elitist flaming is one of my favorite things to do .
