Pictures taken in the biology departement of my college (except for the stuffed rats, which was taken in the visual art's department workshop) with a canon digital rebel xti

Lucky guy! I had to buy my rats frozen at a pet shop. Getting the skin off is easier when they're fresh! :P however I'm happy I inspired you!

As for the second one, yeah, that little baby monkey is quite freaky. he almost looks human, but not quite... weird.

and for the third, it's a human skull ;) seriously, if you are wondering about it's purpose, it's just a normal, articulated skull to teach basic bone anatomy (I guess). there's nothing special about it, other than the obvious fact that it's missing some teeth (and flesh too, bwahahahaha!)

thanks for your comment!

The 3rd pic is interesting
So the skull in the middle is a color coded model for...blood circulation?

ya know what? I don't have a clue. My guess is that it either highlights circulation, cranial muscles, or the different pieces of the skull(more probably).

Yeah, that sounds about right. That would be cool to hook a EEG machine through the model skull, to map spacial cues but I suppose you would have to be concious to map brain neurons like nerves.
