Opinions please!
Be gentle, I'm FAIRLY new at this sort of thing.
The scary ghost girl is my friend Krystal, she's not always that scary. Well..... sometimes.

Well, ok...

First you need to start to work with good dpi resolution pics so we see something.

It's not that bad, it's a good start, a lot of people would have forgotten the shadow under her/him. (see what I mean about the rez? I don't have an idea if it is a guy or gal... execpt for the robe but we are on NO, right? So robes don't mean anything)

But try to work on higher quality pics and if you want a lower rez for effect purpose you can lower it afterwards.

The idea is good, and if you practice you will see that you will get better at it very fast. The learning curve of photoshop (I'm assuming you used it) is pretty easy to climb.

She's wearing a dress.
And the picture was EXTREMELY small and blurry to begin with, so I didn't have much to work with.
Thank you for your constructive criticism.

1. You need a good and free stock photo website. Most of these sites offer high resolution photos for free and without restrictions (remember to read the terms thoroughly though, just in case). Try http://www.sxc.hu/ and http://www.morguefile.com/ for starters. There's also DeviantART too, but taking stock photos from DA requires you to sign up for an account and post your finished work with credits there (ie. for DA use only).

2. I love the idea/concept of the artwork. It's not easy to operate Photoshop at the beginning... for me that is. When I first got Photoshop, it took me another 3 years to actually summon up the courage and learn it. :i: But once you get the hang of it, every thing just falls into place like magic.

3. Practice, practice, practice. And looking up tutorial sites work wonders too! I'm still learning new things as I write this. I don't know everything about Photoshop, but I'm happy to give you help/tips/pointers... dont be afraid to ask/PM me.
