He is a GENIOUS! My favorite modern author. I have read Lullaby and Fight Club (yes! the book the movie was made after). I started reading Diary yesterday and am almost finished today. If you have read nothing else by him, I highly recommend Diary if not Fight Club itself.

NOBODY has read his work? Or even cares? You're seriously missing out on some incredible, thought-provoking books.

I have never noticed this thread before, or i would have replied. I am also a huge Chuck Palahniuk fan. I have read every novel by him including his non-fiction works. Saw him at a live reading in Toronto a while back, got to talk to him for a couple minutes - highlight of my year so far.

Invisible Monsters is my fav CP novel, I have read it aleast a dozen times. Lullaby or Choke come in a close second. All his books are great (Survivor, Choke, Invisible Monsters, Diary, Haunted, Lullaby, Fight Club, Stranger Than Fiction, Fugitives & Refugees).

I read that he wrote a stage play called "Ambition", that isnt going to be preformed so it might become a book or movie. Hopefully. Also, Choke is being made into a movie, and casting in underway (the production team is the same from the movie "Constantine"). All his other books, except Haunted, is becoming a movie in the near future. Haunted may become a television mini-series.

You should check out some other authors like CP ... Matthew Stokeo, Will Christopher Baer ... you would probaly like their work also.

Okay. "Cows" by Matthew Stokeo is probaly the most graphic book I have ever read.

I have read Fight Club, Diary, and Choke. I would like to have read all of his works before the year is out. Apparently 'Invisible Monsters' is his best work, therefore it will be the next CP novel I read, and of course me review will appear here.

I must say, that Chuck is my favorite author ever. He has an amazing mind. Anyone that can write like he does...should be praised.

Chuck is my favorite alongside Orson Scott Card.
